About me
What can you say.... the name: Gerald Zum Gahr....
My age? 35 years and my obsession? 3d graphics...
That’s all said? No, not quite... Who can be summed up in 2 or 3 sentences?
With me you need at least 5-10 more...;)
"What kind of music do you listen to?"
These are creative questions again... well, I owe you an answer, so there is one... quite different and strange combinations and always very dependent on my mood.
With HipHop and Rap you can hunt me down, with Modern Rock, Ska and Ska-Punk you can rock me, with Pianomusic, Epic and beautiful balades I can dream and with House and Dubstep I’ll may move rythmically (For honesty, I don’t want to call it dancing ;))
And what else? Well... my job is at targomed GmbH in Bruchsal (near Karlsruhe), where I work as webdeveloper, sys-admin, 2d-animator and 3d-artist or generally as troubleshooter. My first job, my diploma thesis and a half year internship I have at 3We GmbH (later 3We communication & marketing gmbh).
I feel and have felt very comfortable there - not least because I also worked there as a trainer for media designers (in the direction of web technologies) and IT specialists, and I will continue to be responsible for our BA students in the future.
Before that, I graduated from the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences (formerly Fachhochschule Offenburg) with a degree in Media and Information Technology...
I keep my excellent figure (*cough cough*) through various sports (most of them have to do with strapping rolls in all possible sizes under my feet ;) and to drive through the area.
By the way, I’m lucky to have turned my hobby into my profession... i. e. I like 3d in almost all forms (3d-graphics, 3d-animation, 3d-games, 3d-printers and a lot more ;)), I’m interested in web development and technologies and am a passionate cinema-fan...
(3d-films and so on... ;) )
Now there’s only one thing to say: Have fun on PatchWork3d. de and if you have any questions or want to get to know me: Get in Touch...:)
And that’s all said? Unfortunately, that’s not quite true yet.... I’m trying to play the guitar, for example (trying stands there for a good reason ;)), play keyboard, I like animals and and and....
So, enough of the self-portrayal... up and away and explore the vastness of PatchWork3d! There is a lot more to see and hopefully some things to learn....
Have fun and don’t forget: If you like something, there is the possibility to leave a comment in many areas and I look forward to your feedback!
